Unified Progress International Education (UPI Education) and Dr. James P. Comer M.D., held a book signing and panel discussion about Dr. Comer's new book, "Leave No Child Behind: Preparing Today's Youth for Tomorrow's World" and UPI Education's twelve-week Life Skills Solutions course. Over 150 concerned parents, teachers and students attended the event held at the Playhouse on the Green in Bridgeport, CT. In order to support UPI Education, a non profit organization, which provides life skills training to school students as an accredited cause, the fundraising committee sold over 150 tickets to the event and Dr. Comer's book sales were impressive.
The event was co-sponsored by UPI Education, the Catamount Management Group LLC, who is rated in the top five (5) investment groups in the country and Artsports of Bridgeport Ct. Hadley, President, Housatonic Community College; Dr. Burt Saxton, Teacher of the Year for the State of Connecticut and Dr. Charles Warner, Head of Instruction – New haven Public Schools, invited audience members to an open-mike discussion and received an overwhelming response from the community. After the discussion, everyone was invited to the green room for hors devours and beverages.
