 | What is the goal of UPI Education's Life Skill Solutions™ program? |
 | The goal of UPI Education's Life Skill Solutions™ program is to provide a scalable curriculum that will prepare students (age 9 - 22) for the challenges of life; to teach what society expects and demands and to make students realize what it will take for them to succeed. By discussing the more difficult obstacles facing students, UPI Education will help students to understand the "big picture" and establish a positive decision-making process when confronting social, economic, and personal situations. |
 |
 | Does the UPI Education program augment the existing school curriculum? |
 | Yes. The UPI Education program leaves the reading, writing, and arithmetic (the core curriculum) to the school teachers. The UPI Education program focuses on the importance of education, family, choice of friends and societal, financial and economic literacy - as these facilitate the individual student's development into a good citizen -- capable of contributing to the school community and society at large. A direct benefit of exposure to the UPI Education program, which contains both gender-specific and gender-neutral elements, is an improvement in student self-worth and self-motivation, which will lead to improved academic and personal performance. |
 |
 | For whom is the UPI Education Life Skills Curriculum designed? |
 | The UPI Education curriculum is designed specifically to assist every 5th-grade through middle school, high school, or college level student to rise above mediocrity and succeed in life. The flexibility of the program is geared to meet the needs of each individual student and also provides for the education of school administrators, teachers, parents, guardians, social workers, and others who wish to enhance their ability to communicate and mentor our youth. |
 |
 | How many students are in a class? How long is the program? |
 | UPI Education classes on average consist of 10 – 15 students and scheduling can be tailored to the specific needs of the age group. The length of the course and content can also be adapted to accommodate specific needs and requirements. Taught as an "Accredited" school class or as an "After-School" program, UPI's modular curriculum offers training classes ranging from 60 hours through one (1) year and up to seven (7) years in length; with each class building upon the preceding sessions. The use of a "best practices" approach in curriculum development and the implementation of quality control protocols are the keys to the success of UPI Education’s training. The quality control process is reflected in the careful selection of vetted individuals for the role of UPI Administrator. |
 |
 | Who conducts the UPI Education curriculum training and how? |
 | Training is conducted by UPI trained Administrators.
